Dog Daze Playcare is looking for a reliable and compassionate dog handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be punctual, patient, and able to work well with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
The role of the dog handler is to provide basic care and safety for the dogs in their group. This includes, but is not limited to: preparing food and water, giving medications, giving baths and nail trims, supervising group play, and enforcing basic training. You MUST be willing to handle cleaning related to the position (primarily, picking up poop).
This is a fun but serious position. You will get to know individual dogs, learn their behaviors, and then manage them accordingly. This includes detecting and discouraging inappropriate behavior.
